    The purpose of these T&Cs is to:

    1.3 Scope of Services

    These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “T&Cs”) govern the provision of intravenous (IV) therapy services, associated treatments, and any supplementary services offered by The IV Lounge (the “Company”). These T&Cs are designed to outline the responsibilities, rights, and obligations of the Company and its clients (the “Client”) to ensure clarity, transparency, and compliance with applicable Irish laws and regulations.

    By engaging the Company for IV therapy services, the Client agrees to be bound by these T&Cs. The Client acknowledges that the services provided by the Company are subject to professional medical assessment, consent protocols, and adherence to the guidelines detailed herein. The Company is committed to delivering safe, effective, and high-quality IV therapy in compliance with health and safety standards, data protection regulations, and clinical best practices.

    2. Definitions

    For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions (T&Cs), the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:

    2.1 Client:
    The individual receiving intravenous (IV) therapy services or any associated treatments provided by The IV Lounge. The term “Client” includes any person acting on behalf of the individual with their explicit consent, such as a legal guardian.

    2.2 Services:
    The IV therapy treatments, associated healthcare services, consultations, and supplementary products provided by The IV Lounge. This includes both in-clinic services and any mobile or concierge services offered.

    2.3 Agreement:
    The legally binding contract formed between the Client and The IV Lounge upon the Client’s acceptance of these T&Cs and the Company’s agreement to provide the Services.

    2.4 Confidential Information:
    Any personal, medical, or financial information provided by the Client to the Company that is protected under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws. This also includes proprietary information of the Company not intended for public dissemination.

    2.5 Medical Assessment:
    The evaluation is conducted by qualified medical personnel to determine the Client’s suitability for IV therapy services, based on their medical history, current health status, and treatment goals.

    2.6 Consent Form:
    A document signed by the Client acknowledging that they have been fully informed about the nature, purpose, benefits, and potential risks of the Services and have voluntarily agreed to proceed with the treatment.

    2.7 Staff:
    Any individual employed or contracted by The IV Lounge to deliver the Services, including licensed doctors, nurses, and administrative personnel.

    2.8 Products:
    Any IV fluids, vitamins, minerals, medications, or related products used in the administration of the Services or offered as supplementary items by the Company.

    2.9 Business Day:
    Any day on which The IV Lounge is open for business, excluding weekends and public holidays in Ireland.

    2.10 Force Majeure:
    Any event beyond the reasonable control of the Company that prevents or delays the provision of Services, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or government regulations.

     

    3. Services Offered

    The IV Lounge specialises in providing professional intravenous (IV) therapy services, therapeutic massages, and aesthetic treatments to promote health, wellness, and recovery. All Services are delivered by qualified professionals in accordance with Irish healthcare regulations. Below is an overview of the services provided, including their scope and limitations:

    3.1 Types of Treatments

    3.1.1 IV Therapy Services (Prescription-Only)
    Customised intravenous infusions designed to replenish vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly into the bloodstream. These include:
    – Hydration Therapy: Replenishment of fluids and electrolytes using sterile saline or lactated Ringer’s solutions,
    – Vitamin C Therapy: High-dose Vitamin C infusions aimed at supporting immune health,
    – Antioxidant Therapy: Infusions such as Glutathione designed to combat oxidative stress and promote cellular health,
    – Energy Boosters: Vitamin B complex and related formulas to enhance energy and mental clarity,
    – Iron Infusions: For individuals with medically diagnosed iron deficiency or anaemia, provided upon prescription and under supervision,
    – Magnesium Infusions: Administered under ECG monitoring to support muscle relaxation, nerve function, and cardiovascular health.

    3.1.2 Booster Shots (Prescription-Only)
    Intramuscular (IM) injections of specific vitamins, such as Vitamin B12, tailored to the Client’s needs.

    3.1.3 Aesthetic Treatments
    Non-invasive and minimally invasive treatments to enhance appearance and boost confidence, including:
    – Botox including advanced botox techniques,
    – Dermal fillers,
    – Profhilo,
    – Hydroboosters.

    3.1.4 Massage Therapy
    – Sports Massage: Targeted therapy to alleviate muscle tension, enhance performance, and support recovery for athletes,
    – Spa Massage: Relaxation-focused treatments to reduce stress and promote overall well-being.

    3.1.5 Combination Therapies
    Packages that combine various vitamins, antioxidants, or minerals based on the Client’s wellness goals or medical needs. IV therapies can also be combined with our massage Therapy and Aesthetic Treatments.

    3.1.6 Concierge Services
    Mobile IV therapy services delivered to the Client’s preferred location, subject to additional terms and travel limitations.

      3.2 Service Limitations

      3.2.1 Medical Assessment Required
      All IV treatments are subject to a thorough medical assessment by licensed medical personnel to determine suitability. Clients with certain medical conditions may not be eligible for specific treatments.
      3.2.2 Prescription-Only Services
      All IV therapies, including booster shots, are prescription-only and will only be administered upon receipt of a valid prescription from a licensed doctor following an appropriate medical assessment.
      3.2.3 Contraindications
      Clients with specific medical conditions, such as severe allergies, kidney disease, or heart conditions, may not qualify for certain IV therapies. The Company reserves the right to refuse treatment if it poses a risk to the Client’s health.
      3.2.4 Age Restrictions
      Services are only available to individuals aged 18 and above.

       

      3.3 Non-Therapeutic Use Disclaimer

      The Services provided by The IV Lounge are intended solely to support general health and wellness. They are not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis, treatment, or care for any medical condition.

      • No Medical Claims
        The IV Lounge does not claim to diagnose, cure, mitigate, treat, or prevent any disease or medical condition through its IV therapy, booster shots, or other services. Clients are advised to seek medical advice from their healthcare provider for any underlying or pre-existing medical conditions.
      • Individual Results May Vary
        The efficacy and outcomes of the Services may vary from person to person, and no guarantee of specific results is provided.
      • Client Responsibility
        Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the medical assessment process. Failure to disclose relevant health information may impact the safety and effectiveness of the treatment.
      • Not Suitable for Emergencies
        The Services are not intended for use in emergency situations or as a replacement for urgent medical care. Clients experiencing medical emergencies should contact local emergency services immediately.

      By proceeding with the Services, the Client acknowledges and accepts these terms, understanding the scope and limitations of the treatments provided by The IV Lounge.

        

      3.4 Eligibility

      To ensure the safety and appropriateness of the treatments provided, clients must meet the following eligibility criteria to receive services from The IV Lounge:

       

      3.4.1 General Eligibility Criteria

      3.4.1.1 Age Requirement:
      All clients must be at least 18 years of age. Proof of age may be required at the time of consultation or treatment.
      3.4.1.2
      Medical Assessment:
      Clients must complete a thorough medical assessment conducted by a qualified healthcare professional to determine their suitability for the requested treatment. This includes:
      – A detailed medical history review,
      – Disclosure of any medications, supplements, or recreational substances currently being used,
      – A physical assessment if necessary to confirm suitability.

      3.4.1.3 Consent:
      Clients must provide informed written consent prior to receiving any treatment. This includes acknowledgment of the potential risks, benefits, and limitations of the treatment.

      Prescriptions:
      All IV therapy and booster shots require a valid prescription provided by a licensed doctor, as mandated by Irish healthcare regulations.

      Health Status:
      Clients must be in stable health at the time of treatment. Services may not be provided to individuals who:
      – Are experiencing acute illness or infection (e.g., fever, severe cold, or flu),
      – Have unmanaged chronic health conditions that may contraindicate the treatment,
      – Are under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs at the time of their appointment.
      3.4.1.6 Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
      Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals may not be eligible for treatments. Suitability will be determined on a case-by-case basis during the medical assessment carried out by a healthcare professional and reviewed by the company doctor. 

      3.4.2 Contraindications and Exclusions

      The following conditions may disqualify clients from receiving specific treatments. The Company reserves the right to refuse services if any of the following apply:

      3.4.2.1 Cardiac Conditions
      Clients with severe cardiovascular diseases, including uncontrolled hypertension or arrhythmias, may not qualify for treatments involving magnesium infusions or high doses of certain nutrients.

      Kidney or Liver Impairment
      Clients with advanced kidney disease, liver failure, or electrolyte imbalances may not be eligible for certain treatments.
      3.4.2.3
      Severe Allergies
      Clients with known allergies to any components of the treatment formulas (e.g., vitamins, minerals, or preservatives) will not be eligible for those treatments.

      Bleeding Disorders
      Clients with coagulopathy or those on anticoagulant therapy may not be eligible for IV treatments or injections without prior clearance from their healthcare provider.
      3.4.2.5 Other Contraindications
      The medical professional conducting the assessment may identify additional contraindications based on the Client’s unique health profile.

      3.4.3 Compliance with Terms

      By engaging with The IV Lounge, Clients agree to:

      • Fully disclose all relevant health and medical information during the assessment process.
      • Follow any pre- and post-treatment instructions provided by the Company’s medical professionals.
      • Acknowledge that the Company reserves the right to refuse treatment if the Client does not meet the eligibility criteria or if treatment is deemed unsafe.

      Failure to meet the eligibility criteria or provide accurate health information may result in denial of services, with no liability assumed by The IV Lounge.

      4. Client Obligations

      To ensure the safety, effectiveness, and appropriateness of the treatments provided byThe IV Lounge, all clients are required to adhere to the following obligations:

       

      4.1 Accurate Information

      4.1.1 Full Disclosure
      Clients must provide truthful, accurate, and complete information regarding their medical history, including but not limited to:

      • Current and past medical conditions.
      • All medications, supplements, or herbal remedies being used.
      • Known allergies, including allergies to medications, food, or other substances.
      • Previous adverse reactions to treatments or procedures.

      4.1.2 Changes in Health
      Clients must inform the Company of any changes to their health status or medications prior to receiving treatment. This includes:

      • New diagnoses or medical conditions.
      • Recent hospitalizations or surgeries.
      • Pregnancy or breastfeeding status, where applicable.

      4.1.3 Non-Disclosure Consequences
      Failure to disclose accurate or complete information may:

      • Result in cancellation or refusal of treatment.
      • Increase the risk of adverse reactions.
      • Relieve the Company of any liability associated with adverse outcomes arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client.

      4.2 Compliance with Pretreatment Requirements

      4.2.1 Preparation
      Clients must adhere to any pre-treatment instructions provided by the medical professional, which may include fasting, hydration, or avoidance of specific substances (e.g., alcohol or recreational drugs).

      4.2.2 Timeliness
      Clients must arrive on time for appointments. Late arrivals may result in reduced or rescheduled treatment sessions at the discretion of the Company.

      4.3 Conduct During Treatment

      4.3.1 Cooperation
      Clients are expected to cooperate fully with the medical professionals administering their treatment, including following instructions during the procedure.

      4.3.2 Respectful Behaviour
      Clients must treat staff and other clients with respect. The Company reserves the right to refuse service to individuals who engage in disruptive or disrespectful behaviour.

       

      4.4 Post-Treatment Obligations

      4.4.1 Aftercare
      Clients must follow any post-treatment instructions provided, including guidance on hydration, activity levels, and monitoring for potential side effects.

      4.4.2 Reporting Issues
      Clients are responsible for promptly reporting any side effects, complications, or concerns to the Company for appropriate follow-up care.

      4.5 Acknowledgment of Risk

      4.5.1 Informed Consent
      Clients acknowledge that they have been fully informed of the potential risks and benefits of the treatment and have signed a consent form prior to receiving services.

      4.5.2 Acceptance of Limitations
      Clients understand that results may vary, and no guarantees of specific outcomes are provided.

      4.6 Legal Compliance

      4.6.1 Honest Communication
      Clients agree not to falsify any information or documentation provided to the Company.

      4.6.2 Compliance with Terms and Policies
      Clients agree to comply with these T&Cs and any additional policies set forth by the Company. Failure to comply may result in denial of services.

      5. Compliance

      To ensure the safety, efficacy, and optimal outcomes of the treatments provided by The IV Lounge, all clients are required to adhere to the following compliance obligations:

      5.1 Pre-Treatment Compliance

      5.1.1 Following Instructions:
      Clients agree to follow all pre-treatment instructions provided by the healthcare professional. These instructions are designed to minimise risks and enhance the effectiveness of the treatment and may include:

      • Ensuring proper hydration before IV therapy.
      • Avoiding alcohol or recreational substances for a specified period prior to the appointment.
      • Adhering to fasting or dietary guidelines when required for specific treatments.
      • Providing updated health information or medical test results if requested.

      5.1.2 Medication Management:
      Clients must inform the healthcare professional about all medications and supplements they are currently taking to ensure compatibility with the treatment. The Client agrees to follow any adjustments or recommendations regarding medication use prior to treatment.

      5.1.3 Arrival Preparedness:
      Clients must arrive prepared for their appointment, having fulfilled any preparatory steps outlined during their consultation or booking confirmation.

      5.2 Compliance During Treatment

      5.2.1 Cooperation:
      Clients are expected to cooperate fully with the healthcare professional during the treatment process, including:

      • Remaining seated or reclining as directed.
      • Informing staff immediately if they experience discomfort, pain, or other concerns during the procedure.

      5.2.2 Consent Verification:
      Clients must confirm their informed consent for treatment before it begins, ensuring all questions have been addressed to their satisfaction.

      5.3 Post-Treatment Compliance

      5.3.1 Aftercare Instructions:
      Clients agree to adhere to all post-treatment instructions provided by the healthcare professional, which may include:

      • Staying hydrated following IV therapy.
      • Avoiding strenuous activities or specific foods and beverages if advised.
      • Monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions, such as redness, swelling, or unusual symptoms.

      5.3.2 Reporting Side Effects:
      Clients are responsible for reporting any side effects, complications, or concerns to the healthcare professional or Company promptly. This ensures timely follow-up care and reduces the risk of adverse outcomes.

      5.3.3 Follow-Up Appointments:
      If required, clients agree to attend follow-up consultations or appointments to monitor progress and ensure the safety of ongoing treatments.

      5.4 Non-Compliance

      5.4.1 Risk of Non-Adherence:
      Clients acknowledge that failure to comply with pre- or post-treatment instructions may:

      • Compromise the safety and effectiveness of the treatment.
      • Increase the risk of adverse reactions or complications.
      • Relieve the Company of liability for outcomes arising from non-compliance.

      5.4.2 Denial of Future Services:
      The Company reserves the right to refuse future services to clients who repeatedly fail to adhere to treatment instructions or policies.

      By engaging our services, client agrees to these Terms and Conditions, so accepts their responsibility to comply with all pre- and post-treatment requirements to ensure the success and safety of their chosen services. Non-compliance may affect the Client’s eligibility for future treatments and their ability to achieve desired outcomes.

      6. Medical Assessment and Consen

      All services provided by The IV Lounge are subject to a comprehensive medical assessment and informed consent process. These measures are designed to ensure the safety, appropriateness, and efficacy of treatments for each client.

      6.1 Medical Assessment

      6.1.1 Requirement for Assessment
      Every client must undergo a thorough medical assessment conducted by a qualified healthcare professional prior to receiving any treatment. This assessment ensures that the proposed treatment is suitable and safe based on the client’s individual health profile.

      6.1.2 Components of the Assessment
      The medical assessment includes, but is not limited to:

      • Review of Medical History: Analysis of past and current medical conditions, surgical history, and lifestyle factors.
      • Medication Review: Identification of any medications, supplements, or recreational substances currently being used to assess potential interactions.
      • Allergy Screening: Evaluation of any known allergies, including those to medications, foods, or other substances.
      • Physical Examination: If required, a physical examination or relevant diagnostic tests may be performed to confirm suitability for treatment.

      6.1.3 Outcome of Assessment

      • The healthcare professional will determine whether the client is eligible for the requested treatment.
      • If contraindications or risks are identified, the treatment may be modified, postponed, or declined to ensure the client’s safety.

      6.1.4 Client Cooperation:
      Clients are required to provide truthful, complete, and accurate information during the assessment process. Failure to do so may result in refusal of treatment and the Company assumes no liability for outcomes arising from incomplete or false information.

      6.2 Informed Consent

      6.2.1 Consent Requirement:
      Before any treatment is administered, clients must sign a written consent form. This form ensures that clients:

      • Have been fully informed about the nature and purpose of the treatment.
      • Understand the potential risks, benefits, and limitations associated with the treatment.
      • Acknowledge any alternative treatments or options that may be available.

      6.2.2 Discussion and Education:
      As part of the informed consent process:

      • The healthcare professional will explain the treatment in detail, including its steps, duration, and expected outcomes.
      • Clients will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive clear, satisfactory answers before proceeding.

      6.2.3 Voluntary Consent:
      Clients must provide their consent voluntarily, free from any coercion or undue influence. The consent form must be signed in the presence of a healthcare professional or authorised representative of the Company.

      6.2.4 Right to Withdraw Consent:
      Clients retain the right to withdraw their consent at any time, even after the consent form has been signed. If consent is withdrawn, the treatment will be discontinued immediately, unless stopping mid-treatment poses a greater risk to the client.

      6.2.5 Documentation of Consent:
      A copy of the signed consent form will be retained in the client’s medical record, in compliance with data protection laws and regulations.

      6.3 Limitations of Consent

      6.3.1 Understanding of Risks:
      Clients acknowledge that while the healthcare professional will take all reasonable precautions to minimise risks, no treatment is without potential adverse effects or complications.

      6.3.2 Non-Guarantee of Results:
      By providing consent, clients understand that the Company does not guarantee specific results or outcomes from the treatment.

      6.3.3 Scope of Consent:
      Consent is specific to the treatment discussed and does not extend to other treatments or procedures unless explicitly agreed upon.

      By proceeding with the medical assessment and signing the informed consent form, clients confirm their understanding and agreement to the terms outlined, ensuring a mutual commitment to safety and transparency

       

      7. Payment Terms 

      To ensure transparency and mutual understanding, The IV Lounge has established the following policies regarding service fees, payment methods, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds.

      7.1 Fees

      7.1.1 Service Costs:
      The cost of each treatment or service is clearly listed and available:

      • On The IV Lounge’s website (https://theivlounge.ie/).
      • In promotional materials and brochures available at the clinic.
      • Upon request during booking or consultation.

      7.1.2 Additional Fees:

      • Concierge Services: Mobile IV therapy services may incur additional fees based on travel distance and location.
      • Consultations: Initial consultations, if applicable, may be charged as a separate fee unless otherwise stated.
      • Late Payments: Payments not completed at the time of service may incur a late payment fee of 10% from the full cost of the associated product.

      7.1.3 Price Changes:
      The IV Lounge reserves the right to update pricing periodically. Clients will be informed of any changes prior to booking or receiving services.

      7.2 Payment Methods 

      7.2.1 Accepted Payment Methods:

      • Debit and credit cards (e.g., Visa, Mastercard)
      • Contactless payments via mobile apps (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay),
      • Cash payments.
      • Vouchers and Gift Cards.

      7.2.2 Payment Timing:

      • Payment is required in full at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.
      • For pre-paid packages or memberships, payment must be completed before the first session.

      7.2.3 Receipts:
      Clients will receive an itemised receipt for all payments, either electronically or in paper form.

      7.3 Refunds and Cancellations

      7.3.1 Cancellation Policy:

      • Clients must provide at least [24/48 hours] notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
      • Appointments cancelled with less than the required notice may incur a cancellation fee of €30 or result in the forfeiture of any deposit paid.

      7.3.2 Refund Policy:

      • Non-Refundable Deposits: Deposits paid to secure appointments are non-refundable unless the cancellation is made within the required notice period.
      • Refunds for Pre-Paid Packages: Unused sessions in pre-paid packages may be eligible for a pro-rated refund, minus any administrative fees.
      • Exclusions: Refunds are not provided for services that have already been administered, unless there is evidence of a significant error or fault on the part of The IV Lounge.

      7.3.3 Rescheduling Policy:

      • Clients who provide adequate notice ([24/48 hours]) may reschedule their appointment without penalty.
      • Rescheduling requests made with less than the required notice may incur a fee of €30.

      7.3.4 Company Cancellations:

      • If The IV Lounge cancels or reschedules an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will be offered:
        • A full refund for any pre-paid amount.
        • The option to reschedule at no additional cost.

       

      7.4 Memberships or Packages (if applicable)

       

      7.5 Disputes or Errors

      7.5.1 Payment Discrepancies:
      Clients are encouraged to report any payment disputes or errors to The IV Lounge promptly. The Company will investigate and resolve such issues within [7-14] business days.

      7.5.2 Chargebacks:
      Unjustified chargebacks may result in suspension of services and legal action if necessary to recover owed amounts.

       

       

      8. Liability and Disclaimers

      At The IV Lounge, we are committed to delivering high-quality IV therapy and associated services with the utmost care and professionalism. However, to ensure transparency and compliance with Irish law, the following limitations of liability and client responsibilities apply:

      8.1 Limitation of Liability

      8.1.1 Extent of Liability:
      The IV Lounge, including its owners, employees, and contracted healthcare professionals, shall not be held liable for any adverse outcomes arising from:

      • The failure of the client to provide accurate and complete medical information during the assessment process.
      • The failure of the client to adhere to pre- or post-treatment instructions.
      • The inherent risks associated with IV therapy or any treatment provided, including but not limited to minor side effects such as bruising, swelling, or discomfort at the injection site.

      8.1.2 Reasonable Care:
      The IV Lounge will take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety, effectiveness, and appropriateness of the treatments provided. However, no treatment is without risk, and clients accept that outcomes may vary.

      8.1.3 Exclusions:

      • The IV Lounge does not accept liability for complications or adverse reactions that occur as a result of undisclosed medical conditions, allergies, or medications.
      • The IV Lounge is not liable for delays, interruptions, or inability to provide services due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or regulatory changes.

      8.1.4 Maximum Liability:
      In all circumstances, the maximum liability of The IV Lounge shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific treatment in question.

      8.2 Client’s Responsibility

      8.2.1 Providing Accurate Information:
      Clients are responsible for providing truthful, accurate, and complete information regarding their:

      • Medical history.
      • Current medications, supplements, or recreational substance use.
      • Known allergies or sensitivities.

      8.2.2 Following Medical Advice:
      Clients must adhere to all instructions provided by The IV Lounge’s healthcare professionals, including:

      • Pre-treatment preparation steps.
      • Guidance during treatment.
      • Post-treatment care recommendations.

      8.2.3 Understanding Risks:
      Clients acknowledge that they have been informed of the potential risks, benefits, and limitations of the treatment and have signed a consent form prior to receiving services.

      8.2.4 Seeking Timely Assistance:
      Clients must contact The IV Lounge immediately if they experience any unusual or concerning symptoms following treatment. Failure to do so may increase the risk of complications and absolve The IV Lounge of liability for delayed medical intervention.

      8.3 Non-Waiver of Rights

      Nothing in this section shall exclude or limit The IV Lounge’s liability for:

      • Death or personal injury resulting from negligence.
      • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
      • Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Irish law.

      8.4 Agreement to Terms

      By proceeding with treatments at The IV Lounge, clients acknowledge and accept the limitations of liability and their responsibilities as outlined in this section. These terms are binding and designed to ensure mutual understanding and protection for both parties.

       

      9. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

      The IV Lounge is committed to maintaining the highest standards of service and client satisfaction. We value your feedback and take all complaints or concerns seriously. This section outlines the process for addressing and resolving complaints in a fair, transparent, and timely manner.

      9.1 Complaints Procedures

      9.1.1 Raising a Complaint:

      • Clients who wish to raise a complaint or concern about any aspect of their treatment or service are encouraged to do so promptly.
      • Complaints can be submitted verbally or in writing (via email to cork@theivlounge.ie or via our online contact-us form).

      9.1.2 Required Information:
      When submitting a complaint, please include the following details to facilitate an efficient investigation:

      • Full name and contact information.
      • Date and details of the treatment or service in question.
      • A clear description of the issue or concern.
      • Any supporting evidence, such as receipts, medical records, or photographs (if applicable).

      9.1.3 Acknowledgment:
      Upon receipt of the complaint, The IV Lounge will:

      • Acknowledge the complaint within 3 business days.
      • Provide the client with a reference number for tracking the complaint.

      9.1.4 Investigation:

      • Complaints will be thoroughly investigated by the appropriate member of staff, which may include consulting with the healthcare professionals involved.
      • The investigation process may involve reviewing medical records, staff statements, and relevant policies or procedures.

      9.1.5 Response:

      • A formal written response will be provided to the client within 14 business days of receiving the complaint. If additional time is required, the client will be notified of the expected timeline.
      • The response will include findings, any corrective actions taken (if applicable), and options for further resolution.

      9.2 Dispute Resolution

      9.2.1 Informal Resolution:

      The IV Lounge aims to resolve disputes informally whenever possible. This includes open communication with the client to address their concerns directly and collaboratively.

      9.2.2 Escalation:

      If a complaint cannot be resolved informally, it may be escalated to the Clinic Manager or Director for further review and resolution.

      9.2.3 Mediation or Arbitration:

      • In cases where a resolution cannot be reached through internal processes, The IV Lounge may recommend mediation or arbitration as a neutral and confidential means of resolving disputes.
      • Mediation or arbitration will be conducted by a qualified, independent third party, with costs shared between the client and The IV Lounge, unless otherwise agreed.

      9.2.4 Legal Action:

      As a last resort, and only if mediation or arbitration does not lead to a resolution, clients and The IV Lounge reserve the right to pursue legal action in accordance with Irish law. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the jurisdiction of the Republic of Ireland.

      9.3 Record-Keeping

      • All complaints and their resolutions will be documented and retained securely in accordance with GDPR and data protection regulations.
      • This record helps to improve our services and ensure accountability.

      9.4 Commitment to Improvement

      10. Governing Law

      These Terms and Conditions, along with any services provided by The IV Lounge, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. By engaging with The IV Lounge, clients agree that:

      10.1 Jurisdiction:
      Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, the services provided, or any other matter involving The IV Lounge shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland.

      10.2 Legal Compliance:
      Both The IV Lounge and its clients agree to adhere to all applicable Irish laws and regulations in relation to the services provided and received.

      10.3 Dispute Resolution Preference:
      While The IV Lounge strives to resolve disputes amicably through its internal complaints and dispute resolution process (as outlined in Section 9), clients retain the right to pursue legal action within the jurisdiction of the Republic of Ireland if necessary.

       

       

      11. Amendments

      The IV Lounge reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) at any time to reflect changes in business practices, legal requirements, or operational needs. By engaging with The IV Lounge’s services, clients agree to the following terms regarding amendments:

      11.1 Right to Amend

      11.1.1 Scope of Amendments:
      Amendments may include, but are not limited to, changes to service offerings, pricing, policies, and legal compliance measures.

      11.1.2 Periodic Updates:
      The IV Lounge will periodically review and update these T&Cs to ensure they remain relevant, accurate, and aligned with Irish laws and regulations.

      11.2 Client’s Notification

      11.2.1 Method of Notification:
      Clients will be informed of any significant changes to the T&Cs through one or more of the following methods:

      • Notice posted on The IV Lounge’s official website ([website link]).
      • Email notification to the address provided by the client at registration or booking.
      • Written notification provided during appointments or consultations.

      11.2.2 Advance Notice:
      Where feasible, The IV Lounge will provide at least 14 days’ notice of any significant changes before they take effect. In cases where immediate changes are necessary (e.g., legal compliance), clients will be informed as soon as reasonably practicable.

      11.2.3 Acknowledgment:
      Continued use of The IV Lounge’s services after the effective date of the amended T&Cs constitutes acceptance of those changes. Clients who do not agree to the updated T&Cs may discontinue using the services.

      By proceeding with a booking, consultation, or treatment, clients confirm their acceptance of these T&Cs. This agreement encompasses all aspects of service provision, including but not limited to medical assessment, treatment, payment, confidentiality, and dispute resolution.

      12.1.2 Informed Participation:
      Clients acknowledge that they have had the opportunity to review these T&Cs and ask questions regarding their rights, responsibilities, and the scope of services provided. Any concerns or clarifications have been addressed prior to proceeding with treatment.

      12.1.3 Changes to Agreement:
      Clients understand that these T&Cs may be updated as outlined in Section 11 (Amendments) and agree to adhere to the most current version during the course of their engagement with The IV Lounge.

      12.2 Insurance

      12.2.1 Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance:
      The IV Lounge confirms that it maintains appropriate insurance coverage, including:

      • Professional Indemnity Insurance: To cover potential claims arising from the professional advice and services provided by healthcare professionals.
      • Public Liability Insurance: To cover potential claims related to accidents or injuries occurring on and off the premises.

      12.2.2 Assurance of Coverage:
      These insurances are in place to protect both the client and the business, ensuring that any unforeseen incidents are handled in a lawful and fair manner.

      12.3 Health and Safety

      12.3.1 Regulatory Compliance:
      The IV Lounge is committed to providing services in accordance with Irish health and safety regulations. This includes maintaining a clean, safe, and professionally managed environment for clients and staff.

      12.3.2 Infection Control Measures:
      Strict aseptic techniques are employed during all treatments to minimise the risk of infections or complications. Equipment and facilities are regularly sanitised and maintained to meet the highest standards.

      12.3.3 Qualified Personnel:
      All treatments are performed by trained and licensed medical professionals, ensuring adherence to professional standards and protocols.

      12.3.4 Facility Safety:
      The IV Lounge conducts regular health and safety audits to identify and address potential risks to clients and staff.

      12.4 Emergency Procedures

      12.4.1 Emergency Preparedness:
      The IV Lounge has established protocols for handling medical emergencies that may arise during treatment. These include:

      • On-site availability of emergency equipment such as defibrillators, oxygen tanks, and first aid supplies.
      • Immediate access to medications for managing adverse reactions, such as epinephrine for anaphylaxis.

      12.4.2 Staff Training:
      All healthcare professionals are trained in:

      • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) as appropriate.
      • Recognition and management of medical emergencies, including fainting, allergic reactions, or adverse IV-related complications.

      12.4.3 Emergency Response:
      In the event of an emergency:

      • Treatment will be stopped immediately.
      • Emergency medical services (EMS) will be contacted if required.
      • The client will be stabilised using available on-site resources until professional help arrives.

      12.4.4 Post-Emergency Protocol:
      Following any emergency, The IV Lounge will:

      • Conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.
      • Review and update emergency procedures as necessary.
      • Provide support to the client, including coordination with external medical providers for ongoing care.

      12.5 Final Acceptance

      By signing a consent form, booking a service, or otherwise engaging with The IV Lounge, clients confirm their acceptance of these T&Cs. This acceptance signifies their agreement to comply with all outlined policies and procedures, ensuring a safe, transparent, and professional experience for both parties.
